AutiTunza Kiswahili

Privacy notice

Effective 12 October 2026

AutiTunza helps parents and caregivers of autistic children keep routines, log how days go and notice patterns. To do that we hold information about you and about your child. This notice explains what we hold, why, who can see it, and how you stay in control.

We wrote it in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to us and we will explain.

Who we are

AutiTunza is run from Nairobi, Kenya. We are the data controller for the information described here, under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

Only what the app needs to work for you:

What we do not collect

Why we use it

We use your information only to:

We rely on your consent, which you give when you start using the app and again when you add a child. You can withdraw it at any time; see “Your rights” below.

Insight, never a diagnosis

AutiTunza cannot tell you whether your child is autistic. Patterns and screening questions are a starting point for a conversation with a professional. Nothing in AutiTunza makes a decision about your child automatically.

Who can see it

We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising.

Services that help us

A few companies process information for us, only to provide AutiTunza, and never see your child’s records:

Your rights

Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, you can:

To use any of these rights, email us from the address you sign in with. We reply within 7 days and act on your request within 30.

Children

A child never has an AutiTunza account. Information about a child is added by a parent or guardian who consents to it, or by someone that parent or guardian has invited.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your information, we will update this notice, change the date above, and ask for your agreement in the app before the change applies to you.
